Siya Goyal Displays Obscene Gesture at Media During Police Investigation Into Fiancé Murder Case
A new video from the Siya Goyal murder case has sparked fresh controversy after the accused allegedly displayed an obscene gesture toward media cameras while accompanying police during evidence recovery. Investigators have recovered key clothing, recreated the crime scene, and sought court approval for polygraph tests as the high-profile fiancé murder investigation continues.
Police had taken Siya to her home to recover the clothes she allegedly wore on the day Ketan Agrawal was murdered. After the recovery was completed, she walked out of the residence under police escort. Upon noticing media personnel outside, Siya raised her middle finger toward the cameras, an act widely regarded as an offensive and insulting gesture.
According to officials, earlier on Thursday morning, investigators also took Siya to the location where she and her alleged lover, Chetan Chaudhary, had reportedly rehearsed how they would push Ketan Agrawal from the top of Lohagad Fort. Police believe the reconstruction of events is an important part of the ongoing investigation into the murder conspiracy.
Meanwhile, Pune Rural Police have approached the court seeking permission to conduct polygraph examinations on both Siya Goyal and Chetan Chaudhary. Investigators have already recovered the clothes Siya allegedly wore on the day of the murder from her residence in Pune's Market Yard area.
According to the investigation, Siya Goyal and Ketan Agrawal became engaged in February this year and were scheduled to marry in November. However, police allege that Siya was involved in a romantic relationship with 22-year-old Chetan Chaudhary and did not want to proceed with her marriage to Ketan. Investigators claim that on June 18, Siya took her 25-year-old fiancé to Lohagad Fort, where she and Chetan allegedly pushed him from a cliff into a deep gorge, resulting in his death.
Both Siya Goyal and Chetan Chaudhary remain in police custody in connection with the murder case and were remanded until July 3. With the latest video drawing public attention and investigators continuing to gather evidence, the case has intensified further as police pursue additional forensic and investigative measures to establish the complete sequence of events.
